Warwick castle is a popular attraction among our customers. The Chace Hotel offers fantastic value for money with standard double hotel rooms from £55 or family hotel rooms from £98.
The original Warwick castle was built by William the Conqueror in 1068. In the 14th century, the castle was refortified during the 100 years war which was made possible by its rebuild using stone in the 12th century.
In 1604, James 1 granted the castle to Sir Fulke Greville which Greville converted into a country house. Warwick castle was owned by the Greville family until 1978 when it was bought by the Tussauds group which ultimately became Merlin Entertainment.
